copilotBC will text a student one reminder two hours before each driving lesson, for the school they booked with. Texts are not live yet.
The messages
These are the two texts. Only the school name and the lesson time change.

How a student opts in
On the enrolment form, separate from the enrolment itself. Both boxes start unticked. Leaving them unticked changes nothing about lessons.

For help
Reply HELP or AIDE, or email [email protected]. A person reads it.
Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw consent at any time. Stopping texts does not affect lessons or records.
Who gets them
The student. A parent or guardian only when the school turns it on and the learner agrees.
Who sends the texts
copilotBC, scheduling and record-keeping software for BC driving instructors. It sends on behalf of the school or instructor the student booked with.
copilotBC is the business name under which Shandria Caroline Kyla Slade, a sole proprietor, carries on business.
