Text messages
Lesson reminders by text: planned, not live.

copilotBC does not send text messages today. Text reminders for a booked lesson are a feature we plan to build. This page describes the plan, so you know what to expect if it ships, and says plainly that it is not something you can turn on yet.
What is not live yet
There is no text sender. The enrolment form has no boxes to agree to text messages. No one can reply STOP to anything, because copilotBC never sends a first message. Nothing in the app depends on this feature.
The plan
If we build it, copilotBC would text a student, or their parent or guardian, when a lesson is booked and again before it starts. The student or parent would need to agree first, on a form with the message frequency, the cost, and how to stop. Replying STOP would need to work before the feature could ship at all, under the carrier rules for this kind of message.
That plan is not built. We will replace this page with real instructions once it is.
