Booked is the block the student reserved. Driving is what the timer measured behind the wheel. The pre-trip check and the debrief sit inside the block, so the two differ on most lessons. Only Driving is totalled.

Lesson 6 was signed off without the timer running, so it counts no hours.

Arithmetic, and a fee column
Ten lessons, 9.6 hours behind the wheel, 2.4 of them at night. Fee charged is a Division 27 field, so it prints whether or not you use the earnings screen.
Duration corrections
The signed figure stays
Lesson 9 ran shorter than the length the student signed. That length is still on the row. The correction is a dated annotation underneath, and the hour totals count the corrected figure.

A note written after sign-off is appended, never merged into the entry. The unnumbered row is a no-show. It counts no hours.
