Do students or parents pay anything?
No. Their portal is free.
Can I try it before I pay?
Yes. Email [email protected] for a free trial, no card needed.
Are there per-student or per-lesson charges?
No. Unlimited students and lessons.
Is there a yearly price?
No. Monthly only.
Can I cancel?
Any time, in the billing portal. The plan runs to the end of the paid period. Read the refund policy before you pay.
Does copilotBC take a cut of what my students pay me?
No. Payments go to your Stripe account, or your school’s. Stripe charges its own fee.
Can my students pay for lessons by card?
Yes, by link or QR code, through your Stripe account or your school’s. Stripe’s rate is about 2.9% + C$0.30.
Can I set up the School plan today?
Yes. Pick your instructor count at checkout and send each instructor a join link. Over twenty-five? Email [email protected].
How do seat changes work?
Change the count in the billing portal. A new seat works right away, prorated. A removed seat ends at renewal.
I teach at a school. Do I pay as well?
No. The school covers your seat.
What if a payment does not go through?
Update the card in the billing portal. Your data stays.
What happens to my records if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. One button downloads every record. Resubscribe and everything is back.
Can I deduct it on my taxes?
Usually, as a business expense in Canada. Ask your accountant.
What if ICBC changes the requirements?
We aim to update forms when ICBC does, at no cost. Check each export against the current version. The Compliance page maps the app to BC rules.
Who handles the card details?
Stripe, on its own checkout page. copilotBC never sees your card number.
Prices and tax (where applicable) are shown at checkout. Payments are handled by Stripe; copilotBC never sees your card number. Cancel any time; read the refund policy before you pay.
